The Art of Saying No

We often say "yes" to avoid disappointing others, but we end up disappointing ourselves. Every time we agree to a task we don't have time for or an event we don't want to attend, we are stealing energy from our priorities. Saying "no" is not an act of aggression; it is an act of protection. It protects your time, your mental health, and your ability to perform on the things that truly matter. A polite but firm refusal is better than a reluctant "yes" that leads to resentment. Remember, you are not obligated to set yourself on fire to keep others warm.
